Rudolf Steiner Resource Guide

My studies of Rudolf Steiner's works have profoundly influenced how I engage scientific inquiry and spiritual pursuits. While Steiner was a prolific writer and lecturer, it is vital to note that when studying Steiner, we rely on translations, some of which aren’t that great, and even worse, rely on the translations of notes someone took during the lecture, demonstrating a couple degrees of separation from his literary work. But Steiner’s works aren’t something you just read for the sake of obtaining another bit of information and then abruptly move on. It is a living work and something you meditate on, put into practice, and see how it is reflected in your soul life. We must not take Steiner’s word dogmatically but as indications on how to extend our perceptions the supersensible world.
Beyond being a prolific speaker and writer, Steiner integrated his spiritual investigations into the practical aspects of life. His contributions span various fields: Waldorf Education, Biodynamic Farming, Anthroposophical Medicine, Eurythmy, Goethean Architecture, Social Three-folding, Ethereal Physics, and much more. Steiner challenged stagnant traditions and discarded dogma, advocating for a path of freedom through the enlivening and moralizing of one's thinking, willing, and feeling. His work is foundational in liberating scientific methodology from the increasingly tight Ahrimanic grip of materialism.
Steiner foresaw the challenges of the technological age, warning of the hastening of the Earth's mineral realm's death through the utilization of the physical, centric forces. Physical forces are the inversion of the ethereal forces (This topic will be covered in depth in future articles). His insights were intended to mitigate this crisis or at least soften the blow, as he offered humanity a way to rise from the confines of atomistic thinking. This path doesn't lead to a Luddite existence but rather into a deeper engagement with the material world, imbuing our technological creations with the Christic impulse. Our aim, according to Steiner, is to spiritualize every atom, turning each into a work of art — what he calls the New Royal Art, achieved through the use of the vitalistic force of the TAU.
Steiner brought clarity to the spiritual impulses and evolutionary patterns at play in our past, present, and future to outline how humanity may safeguard and balance itself from the push and pull of the Ahrimanic, Luciferic, & Sorathic impulses. In particular spiritual sciences offers an opportunity for humanity to face materialism head on. There is no running away from the pandemonium, to paraphrase Steiner, but to rise higher into the spiritual realms than we are pulled into the sub-sensible via the Ahrimanic pull of technology. Development of moral and etheric technologies as a counterbalance was of utmost importance to Steiner.
Steiner laid a very profound imagination for how our evolutionary track has been hijacked to produce what is known as the 8th sphere, the eventual moon of New Jupiter, the next planetary condition of Earth. But yet the 8th sphere holds a strong presence here and now within the Earth. It acts as a sort of siphon for all of the immoral, shadowy, dead, materialistic thinking and deeds which will form bodies of the spidery electronic mass that covers the earth in its last days of the 5th Post Atlantean Epoch with the War of All Against All. Transhumanism and the mechanization of the human body will only facilitate this process, playing upon the natural loosening of our etheric bodies. Once the mineral Earth fades away, the matter that humanity imprinted with a moral impulse will yield the substance of humanity of New Jupiter, to whom we shall serve as angels. The other substance imprinted with immorality and shadowy thinking will be the moon of New Jupiter where the humans who became laggard in our current epochs from transhumanism will face their next round of Karma in the 8th Sphere.
My particular interest in respect to of all of Steiner’s work lies in Goethean sciences and Steiner's indications on the supersensible forces of the cosmos. I aim to explore in future articles how we can bring about this knowledge forward for a deeper engagement of mechanical occultism.
